I am really looking forward to Maineri's second year. I think we will see a much improved team and we'll get 40 wins this year (fingers crossed). As long as this team continues to get better, I will be happy. We need to get back to the point when we expect to be in Omaha each year.
I'm looking forward to his second year as well, but I'm thinking we'll never be able to expect to be in Omaha every year, the lanscape of college baseball has changed to dramatically for that. Of course we didn't make it every year in our heyday either. I would expect us to be making Super Regionals quite often though. I think Maineri is the right man to take this program back to the top of the SEC.
