1. Thanks, just saw that on ESPN. I thought it was at 3:00. I'll be rooting for South Carolina then.

I agree that LSU is a cinch to be invited to the NCAA tournament...Hottest team at the end of the season, Ranked in the top 25, High RPI, championship tradition, and.....history of traveling fans ($$$$$).

I'd go with the pessimistic 100% chance posted above.
  2. Come on Steve, you know the NCAA never takes $$$$$ into consideration. :D
  3. Damn! Georgia just won. That blows. If they win tomorrow(or whenever they play next) that cliches a winning record and one more spot that LSU won't get. Hopefully it won't matter.
  4. UGA plays UF Sat. afternoon, time TBD.
    Probably around 12:30 or 1:00.
  5. I dont see a ranking where LSU is in the top 25. Post a link?
  6. The NCAA Tourney Selection Show is Mon. May 30 at 12:30 ET/11:30 CT on ESPN or online at NCAA.com
  7. There are 30 automatic qualifiers as conference champions who will go to the NCAA tournament regardless of their record.

The +.500 record requirement is only for one of the 34 at large bids that LSU is trying to get. If an underdog wins the tournament in a conference that has a pretty good team who will end up getting invited anyway, that reduces the number of at large bids that will be available to LSU.

By Sunday it will be clearer if the number of at large bids has been whittled down. I’m still confident that LSU gets in, but the less conference upset winners, the better!

  8. Well, no SECw teams left in tourney.
  9. WTF got into Jawja? Leading Florida 2-0. I doubt that will hold up though. It's only the 1st inning.
