It was just a feeling. I really thought that they had shot their wad and had nothing left. It was (is) a great run and I was (am) pleased with the season.

I wish I could take credit but I AM glad I was wrong.

The SEC may have prevented two extra teams from getting in today.

Kentucky was a HUGE stretch (at least the SECT Finals to be on the bubble), but USC was on the bubble, and a loss today might have them on the Last Four Out, Looking In list.

You're right. These conference tournaments this year actually have a LOT of weight, simply because of the bubble factor. Lucky for Tenn and LSU that were safely in--of course true to form at least those two teams are proving they belong (which is not what you could always say after some of our recent SEC tournament disappointments). At this stage the Florida-Auburn game has huge significance. If Florida wins, they probably are in and perhaps over USC. If Auburn wins, they continue their march towards a possible bid. If Auburn beats Florida and then Tennessee, they're probably in. But, just with the SEC tourney draw, it appears the winner of UF and Auburn is likely in.

LSU gets Mississippi State and let's hope they keep up the intensity on D. This year's tournament is very winnable and wow, that would be tremendous for the Tigers. The SEC tournament crown has been so elusive for LSU.

I say that seals a bid for AU.

    Another win wouldn't hurt though.

    Great win.
