How do you think the SEC will turn out this year and how bad will LSU dominate 2007?

    East
    Florida
    Georgia
    Tennessee
    South Carolina
    Kentucky
    Vanderbilt

    West
    LSU
    Arkansas
    Auburn
    Alabama
    Mississippi
    Mississippi State

The Tigers will roll through the West. I see them losing 1 game at the most in the regular season. They will face and beat Florida to win the SEC title. After that, who knows :crystal:

Worst year in the world to predict the East. LSU in the West makes sense. From 2 to 4 in the West is a crap-shoot. When you take the top 4 in each conference, I don't see a given game, anywhere.

Arkansas is the most overrated team. They wont finish 2nd.

This is one of the toughest years to predict the SEC, especially in the East. Honestly, the entire Eastern divison could go bowling. The two normal bottom feeders, UK/Vandy, have enough talent to win 6 games each. Kentucky has THE BEST QB in the SEC in Andre Woodson and one of the best RBs in RaFael Little. The defense is suspect, but 6 wins is doable. Vandy has like 20 starters returning, so 6 wins for them should be doable as well. South Carolina is dangerous, but not quite to the elite level in the SEC yet. Tennessee looks like a solid top 20 team this year, but a step below UGA and UF. I'll give the East to Florida based on two things: 1. The have more young talent than just about anyone in the country. 2. They own UGA in Jacksonville.

The West is up to two teams, realistically. Bama is a year or two away from being a legit contender and Arkansas was a one year cinderella type of story. Auburn and LSU, like it should be, will decide the West. LSU was screwed at Auburn last year, and with more talent and home field advantage on our side, LSU wins the West.

So LSU/UF in the SECCG. I'll say LSU wins it all due to UF's lack of experience on defense.

Should be a great year for LSU football. :geauxtige

Wow...I don't know how seriously I should take a list consisting of 11 teams when the SEC has been a 12 team league for over a decade now.

Florida has lost too much on defense and will be too "fat and happy" to win the competitive East. I'll go w/ Georgia b/c it's hard to hold Mark Richt down 2 years in a row. I'll go Fla 2nd, Tennessee 3rd (w/ Ainge having a really solid season), S. Car a close 4th, Vandy and Kentucky.

The West is LSU, Aubie, Arky, Ala, Miss St and Ole Piss.
