I have vivid memories of that play....my wife's first game and we had to pay scalpers to get tics. We stood (There was no sitting room and the aisle down was jammed) in the student section.

Everyone told me we'd never get tics for the game....we walked and walked and had all but given up as the gates to the stadium had opened and some guy comes running up and asked if I needed some tics. I told him what I'd give and he ran back to the bld. on the Westside and came out with two.

Before we went, she loved McNeese (She was on the ct. there and all that sorority balogny) and I told her it was going to make McNeese look like a High School game.........it was awesome. I'm terrible with recalling specific plays/games. I think we won on a TD pass in the South enzone in the final seconds. :thumb:

Actually, Troy Twillie INTERCEPTED a pass from Patrick Nix in the Corner of the NORTH endzone on the last play of the game.:thumb:

I use Xavier Carter too. I normally line him up in the slot against either a 3rd corner or an LB depending on the opponents formation. NOBODY can hang with him on a fly route.

anyone upset they missed the sr bowl, no worries it was terrible.

the jamarcus interview on the sideline was the only redeeming event. he had some 4 carat diamond earrings on and when they asked what he felt he needed to work on he said nothing in particular but he works on everything,

dick vermeil & co said he had the best deep ball they've seen and of course how effortless it was. then said he'd compare his arm to ummm no one. his arm strength reminds me of no one.

though the size/running comparisons continued--Daunte culpepper comparisons. Not even close. wish they'd get a clue on that just b/c he ran the latter half of the season he is nothing similar to daunte. except big and black.

anyone know why jr signed an autograph left-handed? I guess hes one of those oddballs who bats lefty and throws righty.
