1. why don't they care about black on black crime?

    Gang violence?

    Drug violence?
  2. Same reason you can talk about your wife, brother, etc. but don't let someone else. Once, many moons ago, we pulled up to a bar and this guy I knew was smacking his girlfriend outside. I dropped him with a left and when I got on for the ground & pound game the bitch started pelting me. Go figure. I told her if that's what she wanted....

  5. They do, but its complicated. I recommend you find and watch this video of Newt and Van Jones discussing this topic. A very good conversation between two people on opposite ends of the political spectrum who have become friends working on things like this.

  6. It's hard for me to take anyone serious who tells me not to be racist and then tells me I just don't understand because of my race.

  7. I love Van Jones. He's a stand up guy. Would vote for him for President in a second.
  8. Don't think I'm quite there yet as I remember him bugging me in the past, although I don't remember over what.
HOWEVER, if he were running against our current two choices - I'd campaign.
  9. You can't be serious
  10. "black on black crime" is meaningless. at least no more meaningful than "white on white crime" which has about the same #s.

there is a clear and sustained history of social, economic and legal repression of blacks in the US. its pretty easy for them to jump to conclusions when white police kill unarmed black men. call it inertia. I think the only way to reverse it is to mandate only interracial sex.
