We didn't take an injury in 2005 either. Cross your fingers.

you got your loss. Before the tourney. Tonight.

I love the sky is falling crap. Welcome to basketball. It sucks that it happens on Senior night at home, but hell, we won like 14 straight. Vandy creates the match up problem we all knew was there, and Vandy has the only legit true center in the league. So, take that to heart when I've been saying what I've been saying, which is let's stay realistic, and be happy that we're SECCs.

Garrett Green would be playing 10-15 minutes a ballgame if he were healthy.

Nah, wanted to win this one like all the others. I just thought losing some of the 14 win streak pressure could be a good thing for this team before making another run.

Didn't get to watch/listen to this one. How was the offense inside the paint? Taz had some points - did they all come from jumpers?

    Sucked.

Everyone who played forward tonight had a terrible game.

Taz's offense came from jumpers and free throws. He missed badly on his normal putbacks and hook shots.

Storm Warren can barely hit the backboard on FT attempts.

Quintin Thornton got 2 quick fouls within the first 5 minutes and was ineffective on defense as well as turning the ball over the only time he caught it in the post.

Chris Johnson got 2 dunks in the 1st half and a couple of free throws... that was it on offense. Was abused time and time again under the basket on defense.

So nothing new. LSU is one good post-player from being a legit top 10 team. Frustrating how we can't seem to fix that.

We're gonna have a LOT more problems to fix than that next season. We know CTJ can coach. How he handles player development and recruiting will say a lot about the direction of the program.

Well, Bo Spencer looks good to me. If Taz is back, and Bass can play point, maybe Bo takes MT's role. I like Warren. But unless Green miraculously becomes healthy and a force in the paint, CTJ will have another year of making the most of a talented but incomplete squad.

I'm not complaining. Winning the SEC - even in a down year - is awesome.
