Anyone like this design better than the Toonces... found it on another board and thought it was head and foot about that damn toonces tiger.

Looks much better than toonces, but still looks a little too minor league hockey/arena football to me.

I thought tigers had eyes.

i like it a lot...it looks mean..thats what i want in a lsu logo...

Why can't we adopt the LSU Tiger picture that is on the side of the football helmet as the official Tiger picture?

I don't like toonces and I don't like the one above.

I don't know. I've been saying for years that the tiger on the side of our helmet should be our official logo. It makes sense, it's unique to our school, and it would be easily recognized (like the Longhorn image, Colo's Buffalo, or Michigan's "M", SC's Trojan head, Okla's "OU", etc).

Toonces and this other Tigerhead is minor league. It's trying too hard to capture current design fads, like the "new" Ari Cardinals helmet logo. I don't care what they do in the pros, but we should adopt an image that is both tradiational and makes sense. Using the tiger from the helmet logo is perfect.

I agree 100%, that tiger head is the one everyone has grown to know. I dont recall any other schools changing their logos every few years, the one on the helmet should be THE logo for LSU. (IMHO) :tigerhead
