To hear someone say "with the right coaching" is such a disappointment. All of us feel like we have an underachieving offense and the combine, senior bowl game and the Shriner game is just going to confirm what we have felt. The offensive coaching sucks!! Hopefully, that can be turned around.
Just further confirmation as to why no one stood in Crowton's way to keep him here. I think, like many, we will see a great improvement on offense. It really can't get any worse.
That comment makes me want to see TT in a Saints uniform. Drew Brees has said that, unlike the conventional wisdom that says hit your target in the chest, he prefers to throw at a receivers eyes because they tell him they see the ball better. That ends up in a lot of throws up high, and Marques Colston for one has made a name for himself by excelling at catching the high throw. Tolliver could be that type of receiver.

But even if one wants to interpret it as such, they'd also have to give some credit to the things he did do well also, wouldn't they? Catching the ball with his hands (over his head) is probably more from reps with someone (or a machine) throwing fb's to him but things like using his body, I doubt were learned in HS- he probably juked most defenders out of their shoes or out ran them, and didn't need to.
In his frosh year, I REALLY thought he was going to be Dwayne Bowe's direct replacement, and the next great first-round receiver to come from LSU. If we only had a QB. Maybe Krag can fix our QB problems...
