1. Been trying to make this point all year about not over complicating things with a new QB, WR's and RB's. Below is a quote from O about the weeks preperation Rice, seemed to work. Looks like O and E went with that on offense.

"We had a good week evaluating what we were doing with our offense," Orgeron said. "We simplified. Our guys knew what to do. We did the things that we could do well, and you could see it."
  2. Will it translate to A&M? I’m pretty much where you are now, if we can hang on for a win that’s good enough. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to see changes to the staff, including OC.

Our offense didn’t look like it’ll translate, IMO. Throws are late, WRs have butter fingers, offensive identity is meh.

Congratulations! You manhandled the the #110 ranked defense in the country! That's an outstanding accomplishment for a team with top 10 talent.

    Edited to add...

The #123rd ranked passing defense. Seriously... number 123 out of 129! And you think Saturday was a great accomplishment.
  4. glad we didn’t get to the last week of the season to work on the offense

    oh wait....
  5. If you are having to simplify this late in the season.........

  9. Sounds a lot like Miles. Not simplifying but always an improvement in the making with our offense. No way we could've improved THAT much since what we witnessed a couple weeks back.
  10. You can only roll with what you have. While I would like to see better offense from this team, I am happy we are sitting at 9-2 right now -- especially considering that many of the so-called "experts" had us at only 5 or 6 wins.
