Seriously, the really good news on this is that Will Smith could play Sunday. Obviously Vilma is not going to be ready to go for a couple of weeks at least, and my guess is Goodell will levy a new suspension before he can get himself into playing shape

It's all over twitter today that Vilma is seeking a meeting with Darth Roger and the speculation is that Vilma will offer to drop lawsuit if suspensions remain lifted but will push forward if any suspensions reinstated. While that makes sense (putting pressure on the Commish so he won't have to appear at a deposition) I wonder if Vilma will also push to have coaches and GM reinstated too.

It makes absolutely no sense that Sean Payton is still suspended. If there was no crime, how can there be punishment of any sort?

JMO. As this continues to play out, the happy medium that will be reached is that Gregg Williams meant bounties when he said the things he said. Payton is guilty because they were warned about it and didn't stop it. However, the players never took it as anything but Coachspeak to motivate them, and were therefore innocent.
