The best thing that Smoke has going for him is....

    John Brady.

If anyone goes, Brady would have to be the first, AND there is now way that two coaches would be fired at once.

Yeah, two consecutive CWS appearances in his first two years, wins the west in the year 3. Yeah, let's can his butt. Why can't he have the success as , oh, John Brady?

If you mentioned going Smoke-less after a great open field tackle at 3rd, in Starkville, on national TV, that cost us a game, i would have agreed. Of course, back then, we chasing Mississippi State's GIANT shadow.

Earth to LSU... earth to LSU... it's two stupid games in a money maker for the league.

(What's going happen when a Miles team has to punt against UNT?)

Before we talk about next year, why don't we see how we do this year?

    Two in first three years.
Don't forget about 18 scoreless innings at Rice.
Then Rice goes to Omaha and pulls a "Smoke", two and a Bar-B-Q.

And if LSU wins the "money maker", you would be begging for a home Super.

I love appearances.... NCAA Tourney APPEARANCES... CWS Appearances...CapOne Bowl Appearances... at this rate maybe all LSU fans will start enjoying Mediiocrity against. See Curly Hallman, Mike Archer years...

Appearances dont mean SH1T if you can't win a game, sleep on it and tell me im a liar.

I am with you on this one. One of the great things about baseball, especially college baseball, is that almost anything can happen. I am still hoping that we can catch a little fire and do well in the CWS.

What is starting to bother me is next year! Unless we load up some studs this summer next year looks rough. :tigbas:

Problem is, some people just don't see the wall.

Smokeless in '06? I'm not ready to call for that just yet...but it wouldn't hurt my feelings, either.
