when Darwin returned from the Galapagos Islands in 1835,.. he brought back a tortoise, which he gave to the Australian zoo,.. in 2010 it still lived, and the zoo had a ceremony celebrating it's 175th anniversary. They gave the tortoise special food as a treat,.. he walked over, took a bite, spit it out and said, "yuck, that's terrible". the astonished zookeeper said, "you can talk!.. you've been here 175 years and haven't said a word",.. the turtle shrugged, "well, up til now the food's been good"
