Most of you that have read my post know that I seldom engage in the BCS stuff. I don’t because we don’t control it and I don’t understand ¼ of what each of you knows.

I am a country boy raised in the NWF panhandle and lived in Louisiana for 14/yrs. I am proud to say that I’m and honorary Cajun crowned so by my great friends and acquaintances in Southwest Louisiana. (Lake Charles & Sulphur). Therefore, I have a simple solution for this BCS jargon this year. Based upon both teams winning out.

I say do away with this years SECCG if LSU defeats Arkansas. Send UGA to the Rose bowl to kick the chit out of Michigan and shut the ESPN idiots up and that B-10 holier than thou fan base of theirs.

Send LSU & USC to Atlanta to face off for the right to play OU. The game is already scheduled, just pack’em and send’em. It would never happen but it would solve this chit.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? Maybe after 2005 we'll have something like that to look forward to.

It's too simple of a solution. I bet UGA would go for it. Not beacuse they would be afraid of us, but to get to a much better bowl. USC would start crying they would rather chance the BCS than to face off with LSU. MHO

The PAC-10 will never go for it . . . ever. The only thing that could happen is, if we pass USC, that would force all these BCS conferences to step up and add a title game.

UGA would never go for that. By playing in the SECCG they would be playing for the SEC Championship. No way they would give that up.

Could every SUPER conference be counted on to do it? Good idea for next year or the year after! It would be the initiation of a PLAYOFF system and somewhat of a compromise. It could be added into the BCS rules and formulas to prevent the LSU/GA problem from happening. It would have little effect on Exam time and schoolwork.

Agreed, the SEC needs to use it to our advantage, and throw LSU a bone...preferably Florida's or Tennessee's bone.
