1. Whatever Skip's blue ribbon panel, hired consultation group decides about whether to rennovate the Box or build a new baseball stadium here's what I propose:

Just make it look like the stadium in Omaha, maybe a smaller version, so that when the Tigers go there it feels like a home game. I've never been personally but from what I read the park is great. So going to Omaha will be like playing at our home away from home, which Omaha is.
  2. Omaha is nice but always changing.
  3. Is it just me or does Rosenblatt look like the worlds largest IHOP?
  4. thanks...Now, I'm hungry!

  5. When the Tigers go there it does feel like a home game.
  6. I would like some pancakes with that CWS title.
  7. Walks up to concessions.... I'd like one cold milk and one pancake.......

That will be 17 dollars sir.
  8. A Sensible Idea

How does this sound? Build a brand new baseball stadium on a different site. On the current site of the Box, build a high rise parking garage. The main reason I don't go to the football games anymore is because I don't like walking a mile to get to Tiger Stadium and another mile after the game to get back to my car.
  9. in the immortal words of Homer. "ummmmmm pancakes" :)
  10. I hated it when students complained about having to walk "a mile" to class because parking sucked, but at least they were walking it 5 to 6 times a week. When fans gripe about parking/walking 5 to 6 times a year it's laughable.

On a serious note... If you are elderly and can't walk the distance you could try to catch one of those buses that run from the Mall of Louisiana to LSU. They drop you off at the south stadium parking lot and pick you up at the half and after the game. If you're handicapped then there is parking available for handicapped fans in south stadium too.

Other wise try getting there a little earlier or parking on the west side of campus near the law school. Parking is usually available there and the traffic isn't too bad when you leave.
