    Krypto Huh?

you mean the one where we sent them out then forgot to cover them?

Not a bad plan, but I am completely against paying at all. Never pay, you just create more pirates.

You mean the one that was planned by a half brain dead monkey. There were so many things wrong with that plan it wasnt even funny. Mostly hubris to borrow from the greeks. They figured it only to be a 30 min op. so they left their night vision at camp. BAD MISTAKE. Proper planning, disciplined NCO's that conducted proper PCI/PCC and we would never heard of black hawk down.

If we just starting shooting them on site the justice dept would go crazy.

I think they ought to just make it so that all military snipers have to spend time there for training. It would be like the world's biggest game of whack-a-mole, except on water. If you can pop a skull at 1000m with varying elevation caused by wave action, then you'll likely be dead-ass on while on solid ground.

Then we should just start catching and "releasing" them like the Russians do. Anyone in the justice dept that has a problem with this, we stick them on a dingy and put them out there as bait. The opposition will pipe down eventually.

I don't understand why they let the motherships operate. If all they had were skiffs they couldn't operate far from shore and could be avoided. It should be relatively easy to find and sink the motherships.

im very surprised that this is the first time theyve ever intentionally killed the hostages.

this piracy thing is easy to solve really. that country has been so broken for so long there is no hope there. we need to provide the somali people with some job training programs and community centers to give them hope.

Yes, because our humanitarian efforts there have worked so well in the past.

The UN should get off its ass and start trying to re-establish a legitimate government in Somalia. The pirates could not operate except in this chaotic situation.
