No, the bill goes too far and its failing is that it was written by bureaucrats with no input from internet technologists. The US, media corporations, and creative talent is losing billions of dollars from online piracy and something must be done about it. Pirate sites must be shut down an prosecuted. But this bill holds search engines and reference sites like wikipedia responsible for what turns up on their searches and user-contributed material. That is a slippery slope and a bottomless pit all in one.
There is no such thing as pirate sites. Next you are gonna tell me I can't let my friend make a copy of the cd I just bought. This bill is garbage.
