  2. nice and this is who I think fits best. this guy is legit.

wasnt excited about del rio anyhow.
  3. one thing i like about him is that he understands the importance of having great D-lineman to collapse the pocket. during his two years as DC of the Giants, his D-line was loaded with talent: Justin Tuck, Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, Fred Robbins, etc and the Giants were #1 and #6 in the NFL with the most sacks those two years.

then with the Rams, he had Chris Long, Robert Quinn, Leonard Little, James Hall, Fred Robbins, etc and the Rams were #7 in the NFL with the most sacks in 2010

as for the Saints, we haven't been in the Top 15 in the NFL in sacks for at least the last 10 years, and most of those years we were bottom of the barrel in the NFL in sacks. so if all Spags does for us is get more talent on our D-line, that alone would be great
  4. Spags is set to meet with the Saints tomorrow.
  5. Might there be an announcement today? Colts also interested in Spag.
  6. Homerun choice, imo. he'll take those underachieving former #1 pick DL's that we are loaded with and get after the QBs. good mesh of philosophy/scheme and what the Saints current D is already built for, too.
  7. Well, I'm just happy we're changing defensive philosophy. If we could just have an average defense, we go deep in the playoffs every year.
  8. Yes, not crying over the loss of Williams at all.
