Does anybody know what the ASU punter had in mind rolling out away from his defenders???? Giving Skyler Greene a lot of credit i am sure . What a tremendous job our special teams played sat night. Anybody know when the last time we had a blocked punt and blocked field goal returned for a td in a single game?????Also gotta give it to our running backs.
The rollout option punt can be effective if you have the right guy at punter. If the play is open you run behind the wall of blockers, if not you punt it down the sideline away from Skyler. Trouble was that our speedy fullback exploded through the line very quickly and the trailing ASU blocker was looking downfield and didn't peel back from the wall and block him.
