It's definately an exceedingly rare player. An NFL team will pick him up in the mid rounds based purely on his versatility.

Forgot about this. And I'm sure he had some "TD catches" (although they were probably more likely screen passes serving as glorified handoffs). I don't quite remember another back catching a pass in the end zone from twenty yards out.

Kevin faul was a third down back......addai was an every down back, addai's career was 6 years with the colts, the average career of a running back is 2.57 productive years, according to the NFL an average career of a player that makes an opening day roster is ...you guessed it 6 years. So Addai's career was right on track not really shortened.

Addai is just 5'11' 217lbs......ware has a little more size on him to help with the impacts.

Addai was a dang good starting running back in the NFL. He had 4 TDs in one game and the Colts won the Super Bowl with him leading the running game that year. I specifically remember the Colts beating the Pats in the AFC Championship game that year and Addai had the game winning TD run late in the game. He had a lot of potential because of his great pass-catching ability and his speed and athleticism were very underrated.

Ware is probably a little too slow to be a starting RB in the NFL. He can't really make people miss or gain extra yards but he'll gain some tough yards where other RBs can't, so he could have an role as a red-zone back. But you never know...Emmitt Smith and Jerome Bettis were supposed to be too slow too.

Haven't seen him around lately. Perhaps he's a bit too curmudgeonly to deal with this crap these days. :D

I think Ware's vision is his biggest weakness. He runs with his head down too much.

    Great hands though.

It's mostly bc he has no shake n bake and prefers to steamroll a guy instead bc of it. He will take the path of most resistance which may not be good in the nfl.

I was watching the Auburn game with a buddy of mine and pretty much said the exact same thing. But the next play, he broke some poor sap's ankles in the open field on a fairly long run. I think he can shake-n-bake, but he generally just chooses not to do so.
