What a huge difference maker this guy is... less injury prone and IMO a more complete football player and a bigger home run threat than Bush ever was. So glad we got him.

I agree. One of the fastest and explosive runners I've ever seen in a Saint's uniform.

If Bush ran for us like he ran for Miami this year he might still be here. He would've had to restructure, though. That being said, I'm sure glad we have Sproles. A definite upgrade.

Well, it was well documented that Bush wanted the chance to be an every down back. No such thing in Payton's system, so we went and found a guy who was willing to accept the role, and by every measurable, he's filled the role better than Bush did. Bush got what he wanted, and to be fair, he did well in Miami, especially in the second half of the year. Good for him. But he's gone, and he's sitting at home while Sproles and the Saints are Super Bowl contenders. No reason to even discuss Bush in this forum any more; he's ancient history.

I'm happy for him in Miami. Even though he was frustrating at times, I didn't ever question his effort and commitment to the team and the city of New Orleans.

    Correct.

Stand up guy who really cared for the city and gave back. A lot.

And he helped us win a Super Bowl. That's all that matters in the end.

And when you really think about it, he helped us get Sproles when he demanded a bigger role in the offense.

    wjray .-.. ..- -.- .

Not to mention, I think his trade was a conditional one and since he hit 1,000 yards I believe the Saints get better draft choice(s).

    That's not true.

While we don't know the exact terms of the trade, we know that the Saints won't get a higher draft pick based on Reggie's performance with the Dolphins.

...and by the way....I still hate the guy....on a personal level.

    b_leblanc That's just my game...

Sproles is a north-south guy. Bush always went east-west or backwards. Darren Sproles > Reggie Bush.

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

Sproles is cheaper, faster, shiftier, more fearless, a better kick returner, a better punt returner, and a better receiver than Reggie.
