I just don't see Spurrier even considering the Ole Miss job IMO. I think there will be at least a few more desirable jobs available. Ole Miss is a coaching graveyard and a deadend job.
There's NO WAY Old Piss could possibly afford Spurrier. They'd not only have to sell that new "SEC West Co-Champion" flag, but also Eli's Heisman - JUST TO AFFORD Spurrier's first pay check. It will NEVER happen.

Steve I remember when Steve went to Fla the gators were losers > He is a good coach and the mark of a coach is building a team , He will make some University a good Coach . Yes he would go to UT he grew up a stones throw away from UT . It would be homecoming of course it woold be Like Paton or Eli coming to LSU to coach right ? Before going to Fla Steve was looking at LSU I hope we at LSU will not need a coach for 15 or 20 years !!

My nightmare last month was that Saban went pro and we were considering Spurrier. He joined the staff and directed all of the talent to Florida. Went Zook finally went under, he jumped ship like Arnsbarger. He's not to be trusted. Actually, with Spurrier in the unemployment line, Zook will be under extreme pressure this year. Look for Spurrier to be back at Florida the year after.
