My uncle Albert made a fine squirrel stew with taters, onions, carrots, and celery. I don't know the recipe, but squirrel makes a damn fine stew.

My mother tried to get me to eat liver one time by telling me it was bear meat. I decided that I hated the tase of bear meat

Let the kids have the hind legs. The meat is so sweet and mild they'll love it

Was the kettle on the boil when he made that dish? Did he serve it with a cup of tea and butter pie?

Not really, if stew means made with a roux (fricasee). Generally, lean meat and roux don't go well together. Pork and chicken on the other hand...

    1. Mix 1 cup Soy sauce with 2Tbls of garlic, a pince of salt and a bit of black pepper.

    2. After cleaning the squirrels thoroughly, quarter them and marinade them in the sauce for 45 minutes.

    3. Drive to Popeyes and get a 12 piece spicy.

    4. Go home, throw the squirrel away and eat the chicken.
