Not at the moment. There are only about 70 people on the board. The problems start at about 140. Come football season, we're doomed....unless it's been fixed but not challenged yet.

What causes the database errors? Is it a small server here?

The reason I ask is because Wednesday of last week Brett removed a module that he believed caused the issues. A couple of nights of baseball and a few days later, all appears to be well. The errors appear to have coincided with Brett's installation of the module.

If anyone is still getting the errors, please let us know.

I haven't received any recently, even during the entire baseball game Friday night.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love this msg board, but this site always runs slow.

 

It's really fast for me. Get off dialup.


Seriously though, slow for anyone else? Or just his dialup connection?

 

Every thing's been faster since I got this new Core 2 Quad. The 1gbps LAN helps too I guess. But seriously, even on my slow home PC with Cox connection this site never runs slow.

 

i have a fast connection and this is my only frequently visited site that gives me problems. At least 75% of the time, when i click to enter, it hangs up, and i must restart internet explorer. I have no clue why.
