1. I think the Bulls will get the first chance to sign him (this is out of loyalty for their not cutting him after his accident) but I'm not sure that they will. The Heat have shown a lot of interest and it looks like Williams would really like to go there. They won't have Keyon Dooling back next year so he could get playing time right away.
  2. I agree....its nice to be able cheer on a fellow tiger in the Toyota Center.

He does want to win and the Houston Rockets really see him as a good fit for their team. They really believe he has a lot of upside to him and the organization and Tracy are willing to do what it takes to help him reach that potential.
  3. Another greedy agent screws up an NBA ballplayer... The grizzlies offer last year in the final year of his contract was 48 million over 6 years. He now gets a paultry 6 million over 5 years. Agent told him to take a risk and since he got injured during the season, he loses out on about 18 million dollars he was offered just a year ago.

I'll match your article with another one! hahah

    and WAY past prime?

This goes back to me and Crawdaddy! THEY DONT NEED A LEGIT SCORER!

    Just depth!

They got all the offense they need

And I disagree totally: They don't need GUARDS: They lost to the Mavs b/c they had no depth to contain Nowitzki and all that they threw at them.

So I mean they do need guards, but not really an upgrade, just fresh bodies.
  5. Hmmm, I hope you know that all the Nets have to offer any FA is the mid-level exception. You really don't have any business calling anyone a clown who doesn't know what he is talking about.

Damon Stoudamire sucks by the way, I'm sure the Rockets could really use his sub-40% shooting.
  6. There is something in the NBA called signed and trade? Well in it, the Grizzlies would have given Stro a lot of cash, in exchange for Net players! :)
  7. Really? Where did you hear this? And what Nets players would those be? Unless one is Kidd or VC (which it wouldn't be) there is no way they would have the cap room to fork over 8 million a year for Stro.
  8. Thanks for proving my point.

"To make the deal work under cap rules, the Portland Trail Blazers, who own Abdur-Rahim's rights, would have to agree to sign him to the contract and then trade him to the Nets using a $5 million trade exception that the Nets own."

"If the Nets are unable to get the Blazers to agree to a sign-and-trade, Abdur-Rahim has agreed to sign with the Nets for their mid-level exception at five years for about $28 million, according to the team source."
