1. Why isn't there a small student section for baseball games? One thing that's always missing at the baseball games is the raucous student support.

Perhaps this new hire is an opportunity for current students to take some initiative to get more involved in the game atmosphere? Coach Mainieri would likely be receptive to students' interest in the baseball program.
  2. there is a section. all 10 who go can sit prett much anywhere they want.
  3. :hihi: i take it you didn't go to too many baseball games a while back when you were a student....
  4. Technically, the student section is Coon's Corner. But it seems students only come out in force for 2-3 games, so its usually just an overflow space for the rest of right field.

That said, the guys in coons corner do a fine job of heckling whoever is in right field.
  5. I've rarely gone to games period. I am not saying that there once was a student section. I am saying students have never really gone in high numbers to the baseball games. Maybe that can be changed.
  6. winning usually cures that...

unless it's brady ball. i think scary ghosts or something fly around in the pmac...
  7. the student section was very supportive for most of sec play

  8. i agree

i was speaking more about the pmac attendance as a whole...
  9. yea even during mardi gras (kentucky) the student section was near capacity (not just courtside but upper levels too); but i agree the non-students need to support the team better
  10. as long as brady is here we will have to give the tickets away to get capacity. and then you still wont fill it up. hint...hint homers.
