Do you cook the stuffing in the bird or out or both?

I will work on getting that recipe, I have never attempted to recreate it myself.

Both. White bread herb stuffing in the bird. Corn bread dressing on the side. Corn bread dressing is better when it is browned in the oven.

We only do cornbread dressing, so out. Just like Red suggested, it's better when browned in the oven.

Cornbread dressing is one of those things that just reminds me of Louisiana and home. I love it.

In and out. In oyster patties and out on the side. But not in the bird, since that was the question.
