In most Super Bowls, lacking four starters on the offensive line would spell doom.

The Chiefs? They’ll likely still go zoom.

The defending champs should move the ball in Tampa, although to what degree we’ll see Sunday when Kansas City becomes the first team in the 55-year event to go into a Super Bowl with four backups starting on its offensive line.

A shuffled Chiefs line making its first collective start as a fivesome will face a healthy Buccaneers defense that sacked Aaron Rodgers five times in the NFC Championship Game.
  2. The author was wrong as were the Vegas oddsmakers.
  3. my point is this was as much to do with the Chiefs OL as much as the Bucs DL....

  4. Injuries are part of football. TO's & mental mistakes played a large role in the ass whipping the Bucs put on 'em. That & I think the Chiefs gagged big time.
  5. Mr. White had a big part in Mahomes downfall. I wanted Tyrann and Clyde to win; but I was very happy for Devin who has been terrific this year. I don't know how he isn't all pro.
  6. Mahomes didn’t look good under pressure; makes me wonder if he’s another overrated but physically gifted QB.
  7. In 3 years he's 38 - 8 with two SB appearances one ending in a championship. Not overrated IMO.
  8. One thing no one has mentioned was the injury to Mahomes big toe. Bad enough probably going to need surgery which surely limited his scrambling ability. Probably wouldn't have changed the outcome, but could have made KC more competitive than they were.
  9. go back and watch the texas bowl game where LF ran wild....
  10. Seemed to scramble just fine. Only it was in the wrong direction.
