Just talking about that on SportsCenter this morning. After the Julio catch (he is a freak of nature), they should have run straight up the gut 3 times and kicked the 35-40 yard FG. Game over.
Atlanta's defense was just gassed in the 4th quarter. The Falcons offense only ran 46 plays in that game. The defense had to defend 93 plays. To me, that's the difference in that game.
I agree, but still, ATL could have put the game out of reach had they played it smart once they got into FG range on that last drive. I'd say the comeback was75% Pats play, 25% Failcans bad decision.
