Some of the answers were very interesting. I tend to fully believe everything he said, including the Bama NC game debacle. It must have been frustrating for him, Lee, and Shepard to not play a single down in the final game of their career. T-Bob seems like a likeable guy from the little that I've seen about him over the years.
Most interesting thing to me was the writer wondering how much influence his current job had on the answer? Hmmm

I'm pretty sure there is no "story" behind 1/9/12. Sometimes you get your ass kicked. Exactly the same scenario from the 1959 season when LSU beat Ole Miss on the Billy Cannon punt return, then lost to them 21-0 in the Sugar Bowl. What was the "big" story there? And fwiw, the biggest favor Les ever did for Lee is NOT playing him in that game. He'd have also sucked because the offensive line was getting man-handled. By not playing, he's a hero forever. The great "what if..."
