This is the 3rd or 4th game in a row he is running around for early shootaround with the team... Now... while watching us almost lose another close one last night b/c of a lack of a true PG, why aren't we lifting the shirt on him and letting him play?
I don't know that we aren't a better team without him. He's got skills, but he seems to be unpredictable and at times a ball hog. I remember last year he seemed to just jack up shot after shot without letting plays develop.
Torn Meniscus (sp), 4-6 week injury... It's been about that long, but b/c he has missed so many games this year, we are going to just redshirt him... I am not bashing anyone for not letting him play... Just a suggestion...
Certainly you don't think Ben Voogd is better than he is? I like Garrett Temple, but he isn't a true PG... I think that when it is all said and done, Tack will benefit greatly from his summer of playing wiht John Lucas and several NBA ballers
It's really not a matter of me thinking he's better, just that he doesn't do the unpredictable things that Minor does that costed us games.
I don't know if it will show up-later but the first game he was in this year he turned the ball over on his first trip down the court (he outran the ball as usual)! :dis: I'm wiht I-Of-The-Tygrr on this one of us beeing better without him.
That is true, but he hadn't played in 8-9 months with the team... It is hard to get the speed down in that time... The game he was injured was by far the best game of his season
That first TO was not because of him not playing with the team but him not being able to dribble as fast as he runs down the court. I am sure he dribbled a ball while he was not playing with the team. What he needs to do is learn how to dribble the ball as fast as he runs or slow down so the ball can keep up with him.
Tack definitely has more talent but that has yet to translate into quality play on his part. If Tack plays like the Tack of old LSU is no better off with or without him.
