If you Google the name Roger Barnsworth, the only things you find are things related to the aforementioned letter. Well, that, and some information on a book named The Sex Club. Edit: And apparently he responded to a blog where the people were complaining about the state legislators trying to raise their pay [ http://wafb.typepad.com/legislators_pay/2008/06/pay-raise-heade.html ]. Not surprisingly, everyone else was against the pay raise and he was for the raise. Seems to me that whomever is behind this Roger Barnsworth pseudonym certainly enjoys riling up people.
Well hell! That makes sense. No one wanted to join his little club so he's going to try to trick all the LSU tailgaters into paying a fee which he will use to claim that he has over 100,000 members in his club. I smell a scam... :hihi:

"movers and shakers" gave it away for me too. he should've sent in a picture of himself dressed up as the "monopoly" guy for full effect. clearly this is satire railing against the very thought of tailgating fees. if it's not then it is the writings of an ole miss rebel.
