1. #2. No. Mett didn't INTENTIONALLY do anything wrong. He did what he's supposed to do when he recognized the defensive alignment. He checked to the bootleg. Now that said, I seriously doubt anyone...Mett included...thought he could SCORE on it. But no way you criticize the guy for doing what he's trained to do, and giving every ounce of effort in it.

    The rest, maybe so.
  2. Example?

Are you saying Tigers should fumble or throw an interception on purpose?

ANY play we would have run would have scored. Ole Miss was that beaten.

I don't see any other way to prevent another score other than taking the knee.

Besides, who cares about their "feelings"? It's SEC football, Son, not a poetry recital.
  3. :hihi: Dat's funny

Those fine announcers for the game last night might not have thought it appropriate! Might have been tough on Wing's average too, depending on how the stat keepers score a backwards punt?

    :geauxtige
  4. instead of downing it he should've let Wing punt it :hihi: we owned that stadium last night. it was cool having my 2 little ones there and looking around in the fourth quarter more than half the stadium was purple n gold. game over bring on the sweat hawgs !:crystal:
  5. If this had been next year, and Phuckaburger was the starter, maybe things would be different. I think Miles made him take a knee, not only out of respect to Nutt, but to humble his titty grabing ass. Personally, I would rather LSU just run the ball....if OM can't stop them, tough chit.
  6. only one person is allowed to take a knee in that situation.

  7. and a good knee that is!!!!

  8. Good idea! Would have been more fun to see Wing punt the ball out of the stadium:hihi:
  9. If Nutt thought for a minute he was being disrespected he could have burned three timeouts to "ICE" the Kneel Downs.
  10. I am sure that if that had not been Nutt's last game at Old Miss, Miles would have not done this.
