I decided not to try for tickets, even though I live in DFW. One of my neighbors is a Texas Tech fan who has an industrial smoker he takes to Lubbock for tailgating. Back in March, we talked about having a huge football season kickoff "tailgate" at my house. He plans to park his smoker in my driveway that morning and have a day and night long football-watching extravaganza. A keg and margarita/daiquiri machine may be in order. Who knows?
