Just got back from the game. Davery's TD came right in front of me (from your TV set, I was sitting in row 32 on the bottom right-hand corner ). Seeing as I'm fans of both teams, I decided to go neutral and just where my Red Sox hat and LSU t-shirt. :thumb: ...and cheer for all of the former LSU players on both teams! :thumb:
I've gone thru 27 years of that crap: Saints win in pre-season when nothing matters--hell, remember all those undefeated preseasons?! ...only to finish something like 3-13 in the regular season? I actually called it (Saints win) at the end of the 3rd quarter when the Pats where up 27-22. I told a buddy of mine that came to the game with me (he's from Alexandria), "The Saints are gonna pull this off." To which he replied, "What makes you say that?" My response was right on que with typical Saints preseason: "Because it's the end of the 3rd period and Darren Howard and about a half-dozen other defensive starters are still in the game, beating up on that rookie USC sh*t QB."
