Since so much of a premium on NFL QB prospects is the mental part of the game, it would be interesting to hear what NFL scouts say on the subject. My guess is that it hurts his draft stock a bit.
I've seen it a lot as a teacher, too. One of my cousin's wives is homeschooling their kids--who are clingy and weird, very anti-social.

Big mistake. We're given our kids to love and raise, sure. But they are not supposed to cling to us for life. They have to become independent.
