Part of the reason he's indecisive is that he doesn't have sufficient time or protection to throw the ball.

Probably a bit of both. Even when he does have time he can still be indecisive at times.

I'll agree with that. But as I've stated earlier I think the coaches are playing what they think is their best QB.

if you have some time watch this film study with former lsu qb. It’s pretty informative:
ETA: looks like you’ll have to watch it on youtube

So is the LSU OL substantially worse than that of Missouri? Are their receivers better than what LSU has? We both played Auburn. Missouri had 179 yards passing against Aub. vs 85 for LSU. The fact is that Missouri has a better QB than Daniels. Blaming the lack of a passing game solely on the OL is BS. Our OL may not be great, but in reality it probably is no worse than our 2021 & 2020 OLs. — Yes, a low bar, but Max & Myles in 2020 and Max in 2021 put up much better passing numbers with what we had..

Feel kind of the sane way. Puzzling hire, even more disturbing $100 Million dollar contract. People laugh at Jimbo's contract, who makes less than our last 2 coaches. I'm giving him a chance as well, but not expecting too much of a drastic change. This is a Kelly team, it is what it is.

I'm guessing he lasts about 5 seasons here, then he goes on the Orgeron payment plan.

Scott Woodward has made some stunningly bone headed contract decisions, including O, Kelly & Jimbo.

"Coach O has set a new standard at LSU," athletic director Scott Woodward said in a news release. "He has proven that he is not only a championship coach, but also a leader of a program committed to doing things the right way. He has represented our institution and our state with great pride, on and off the field of play. He is well-deserving of this new contract, which should make clear our commitment to Coach O and the direction of our football program."

I'm not interested in comparing our team to Missouri's. I base our performance on what I see on the field from LSU. It's strictly my opinion. Take it for what its worth.
