Supposedly he has really been impressing the coaches and older players. Les sounds like Terrance might get the #3 WR spot. He is also up to 200 pounds. I did not think he would be fighting for the #3 spot.:geauxtige

He will get his shot this year to prove himself early on, IMO. Especially with the questions about Byrd qualifying. I was very impressed about the press he recieved from the Manning camp. Eli would over shoot him on purpose to see what he could do and I grabbed everyone of them. Could we already have another Bowe on our hands?

I hope he's more productive than Bowe. Bowe had a great senior year, but was very inconsistent otherwise. Not trying to knock Bowe, who is a great player, but honestly I hope Tolliver is able to be more reliable early in his career. I think we're going to end up needing him.

I think we should test Toliver's vision as soon as possible. Then we can get him to be productive like Bowe's senior year all four years.

Toliver has added weight, which was a concern for a lot of people who didn't think he'd be able to beat jams in the SEC. He's still skinny b/c 200lbs isn't much for a 6'5" guy, but he's big enough that it won't be a real detriment to him.

I don't see Bowe in Toliver. Toliver is taller, faster, and with better hands. Bowe is a physical, over the middle guy. If Toliver can become as physical & tough as Bowe, he'll be one hell of a receiver. I don't think he can do it this year because he needs time to develop his blocking & add weight, but hopefully down the line...

The stuff we're hearing about Toliver reminds me of what we heard about LaFell. A lot of people thought that Byrd would get the nod for more PT above Toliver because he's coming from JUCO & is more physically ready, but Toliver is certainly making his case right now with Byrd not being on campus yet.

Tolliver is a big target. If his hands are as good as Manning's camp is saying, we may have another Clayton and this one with speed.

Sounds like he is currently a young Limas Sweed, developing into Calvin Johnson. Get that boy on the protein shakes!

Just saw where the kid has another SEC team as his leader (take a guess :rolleye33:).

I don't anything about him and have never seen him play or know people that know him, but I get the impression he is LSU bound, anyone know what is up?

I thought you quit drinking on Sundays.

It can get confusing but the thread is about T Toliver (one "L'); you're talking about Chris Tolliver (Two "L's). Coming from someone whose football knowledge is locked down tight, this is too dam funny.

Hell, you're not even in the forum you think you're in. :hihi:
