For some reason, I'm pulling for Iowa in this one.

Iowa is off to a fast start. Although I do believe Texas will come out on top.:)

I picked Texas, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if Iowa wins. Looks like we started this discussion at the same time.:)

Definitely pulling for Iowa. UT fans are insufferable, and I picked Iowa, thinking that Colt McCart wouldn't be playing.

I would, if not for the fact that I picked Texas in my bowl pool.

If Texas doesn't put some pressure on Tate he going to kill 'em.

Pull for Iowa. We have to recruit against Texas. Every high-profile Texas loss helps us a little.

    ... I went with Iowa:wink:

... finally played "healthy", played well, still lost... 245 days until we get to start anew... tick, tick, tick, tap, tap tap...

    Good Luck Wednesday night...

    Tough loss, Hawker.

I thought Tate played well...but really only for 75% of the game. Tough season for Iowa. I was hoping they would have won the Big Ten this year but injuries were just too much it seems.

Well, I guess the silver lining is that with that mediocre season, perhaps the NFL will cool off on your coach--if only for another year--before resuming to giving college football fans (especially you Hawkeyes) ulcers.

What class is Brodell? I was REALLY impressed with that guy! He's got loads of talent and having him back would greatly help Tate's replacement for next season.

I know it was only one game, but Brodell looks as if he just might be the best non-household WR in college football. He's reminds me so much of Ed McCaffrey of the Denver Broncos: tall, lanky but tough, and deceptive speed (Brodell is fast!).
