Oregon is practically international, and he scored a white kid from there. Hell his last name even sounds like Eastern European or something. Does that help your little cause? Do you REALLY believe that what this team needs to go from "decent to great" is a white kid who speaks English as a second language? I was thinking maybe more point guard depth would be helpful, but I guess I wasn't thinking about it terms of RACE and NATIONALITY. How shortsighted of me.
Dale Brown recruited international players and didn't have much success. Anyone remember Misha Mutavic and Roman Rubchencko? Brady could easily win with the talent in Louisiana. If we had Martin Zeno (6'5", good slashing guard/good defender--plays from TxTech) on this team, and added that point guard from Brother Martin (Texas commitment), we'd be unstoppable.
I bet he will be a nice force when he is a senior. But right now im not to impress. I think Brady could have found about 20 other kids better then BV. Lets give him some time I bet he will bloom into a nice role player. He has a few TO's per game but I like him. Yes I do. Open your eyes and see that having a white guy whom is capable of running the point can calm down the brothers AND promote team unity and diversity. Plus they are key at shooting free throws at the end of the game. Notice how smooth LSU plays when BV is in the game. Notice how calm and free flowing the guys are when he is running the show. Look laminator there is nothing-wrong w/having a couple of nice role-playing white boys on the team and in the locker room. After all its LSU not Southern.
