1. This may be a dumb question, but does LSU plan on putting more seats in the ball park? Would it be out of the question to put seats all along the outfield, not just left field? I know we could fill them all since all the tickets sold out in 15 minutes. Any thoughts or insight?
  2. There has been much debate over building a new facility in a new location, a baseball/softball complex farther down Skip Bertman Drive, versus renovating The Box. The latest rumor I heard is that they plan on renovating The Box in two years that would increase seating to about 9,500.

The problem with putting seats in center and right field is the close proximity of Nicholson Drive.
  3. I like right center and right field just how it is. I think they can make the grand stand bigger, also...they can add larger bleachers down the 3rd base and 1st base line. We could double those seats without spending much money.
  4. We need a new first class facility. We've got the best program, best fans, best tailgating...but our stadium is not even up to par with those of Auburn, Arkansas, or even Kentucky.
  5. I wish they would put some kind of roof over the 1st and 3rd base line seats. It gets pretty damn hot for late season day games.

Yesterdays attendance was 7606, the largest crowd ever for the Box.
  6. I totally agree! No matter how much renovations we do to The Box, it'll still be an old facility. And there will always be limitations to what they can renovate.

I'd like to see a first class new facility...
  7. 7606 is nowhere near the largest crowd ever at the Box. 8622 I believe is the largest. It was two years ago when we beat ULL. There have been many crowds larger that 7606. ESPN also said something about UT's attendance which was completely false.
  8. Dosen't it have to be true before they can say it on television?

  9. I think that's a paid attendance figure. I heard that Sat's game was over 8,500 inside. You gotta figure that Sun was larger.
  10. No, during the Clinton Administration, they passed a bill to reverse that.
