I remember when this came out. My sister and I spent hours and thought it couldn't get any better.

My sister keeps up though. She just had this imported for my Christmas present.

Yeah, we did the extra point in that paper football game. My dad said he played that game in 8th grade with his friends but not many people knew about it. When I taught it to my friends, nobody had heard of it either. Good to hear someone else played it also. Still not sure if that game had a name.

It has a name and you can buy themed versions.

Unless it also comes with the page(s) of a field with lines that you have to navigate through (with your eyes closed), I don't think that's it.

    We called it flick football.

That's the fancy way to play. We couldn't have gotten away with playing it at school if we had that set up,

I remember that too. It was a different and even more incognito then flick football, but not as fun.

About 5-10 years ago, there was a viral youtube video about the evolution of dance. If done well, I think a 2 minute video on all of these classic football games (including Tecmo Bowl /Madden/etc) would be interesting. Devote 5 secs to that nameless paper & pencil game.

If you go anywhere on the deep web, be sure to put tape over your webcam...
