We throw the 5 to 10 yard hitch 15 times a game.. where is the hitch-n-go? How about a deep post or flag? If i am playing against LSU I press on the outside and blitz every play, because I know LSU is going to dump the ball off 95% of the time...
If I remember correctly, we tried a fade to Skyler on one of our first posessions during the MSU game. The throw was nearly perfect. I'd say the ball about 2 inches away from being in catching range. So (at least versus MSU defense) we've shown potential we can do it. There's a start, I guess.
You mean like ASU did to us for 460 yds? I'll take 460 yds passing over forcing a deep ball into triple coverage (because they are playing us deep, every team...go look). We don't go deep because the deep is being taken away, not because the coaches want to piss you off.
I don't think our WRs are great route runners... Carter is SO fast, but he is an athlete more than a WR... Green is always double covered, and Bowe don't have the speed of the others
