1. 3rd down. QB is under pressure. Their guy can shed a tackle and run for a first down. Our guy can't.
I strongly believe that a QB who can run is essential for success in 2017 and beyond. Does LSU have one of those for next year?

  2. LSU is a scrambling qb away from defeating bama....I just dont understand why LSUs coaching staff does'nt see this.....
  3. Our Qb can't run and can only barely pass.
  4. Maybe this time, but it's still not that simple. Remember JJ in the game that should not be mentioned?

  5. We need receivers and qb who can recognize the blitz and adjust for a quick outlet, instead of those long routes that give our qb no time to get rid of it. That’s teachable, just not sure we are doing it.

  6. Until we develop a short-intermediate passing game, and execute a decent screen or well timed draw, it won't matter much.

  7. Wrong we have the qb to beat the gumps. He played late and he will get better for next year. You have to open these guys up and mix in the run.
  8. QB play and conservative play calling were the difference tonight. LSU matched Bama on the field.

  9. I hear ya...but, lets think about the games that bama have lost in the not so distant pass....Ohio st.- cordell jones , ole miss - chad kelly and bo wallace, TA&M- johnnie football, and most recently clemson - deshon watson..What do these guys have in common? they were all scrambling qbs with the ability to get the ball downfield consistently .. thats something JJ could'nt do..You will NOT beat bama with a pocket passer.......
  10. I dunno, we hit some pretty big 3rd down throws. Was kind of surprising.
