1. This should go down in the annals of LSU football history. It needs its own name, like the Halloween Run. It is "The Drive". How many 4th down conversions were there? Three? Passing up a tying field goal to go for it on 4th down near the end zone? Jacob Hester giving his all on that drive and ending up hurt on the field after diving into the end zone?

    I give you "The Drive".
  2. Seems like LSU has had a lot of these the past few years. As early as the Earthquake game drive, the one vs UGA in 03, UF in 04, ASU in 05, Tenn in 06. I would say this tops them all though in terms of importance.
  3. It can't be the drive, that name belongs to the Bronco's. How about
    "The fourth down drive"?

Just off the top of my head. Great idea though. It will stick in the pit of the gators stomach like a ..... I don't know what. If we can get a name that sticks it will haunt them like.... like Glen Dorsey haunts the boogie man's dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. "Corndogs' Revenge"?
  5. "The Hester"?
  6. Balls of steele?
  7. How about "The Run for One"?

That play signifies the whole freakin' drive. Gusty, tough, and brilliant.
  8. I think there were two of those. I think the epitome of that drive was Hester lying hurt halfway in the end zone and halfway out with the ball in his hands.
  9. How about "8 for 7", because in addition to all you have already said, that drive ATE up eight minutes and ended in 7 (instead of 3), which effectively killed the Gators. Give Tebow 3 minutes vs 1:09, and the end of the game is a LOT more stressful.

    "8 for 7"

  10. Hester accounted for 37 of the 45 yards on the last drive I believe.
