1. Yeah when #1 went undefeated and finally had to play #2 in the SEC CG, they lost in 2008.
  2. I like the back where we belong thing, that state's false sense of importance is mind boggling.

  3. I did not see any sense of entitlement from Auburn while living in that state, they just hate Alabama. Now if you mean just Alabama (school not state) then I agree.
  4. LSU championship shirts had "Who Cares?" under the Florida score from the '03 season.

  6. Like the Bama 2011 undefeated Championship Year.
  7. Would not have worn that shirt either.

  8. There is absolutely no common sense in the world to support Ohio State ahead of LSU when they met head to head that gave LSU one more crystal ball than Ohio State during that era. And they both played in 2 championship games, so Ohio State doesn't even have that on LSU. Ohio State plays in a barely competitive BCS conference. The big 10 has lowered itself to the 2nd worst of the BCS conferences.

I mean that's a joke in your ranking.

Did I mention Ohio State cheated as well?
  9. There's little doubt tOSU's two championship losses to the SEC.... followed by the coaching changes at Michigan and the problems at tOSU and Penn State.... has left the B!G in a quandry at the top of the league. That said, the conference, as a conference, has held it's own since you guys hammered the Buckeyes. Since the BCS started in '98, the B!G is 8-8 in CapOne bowls, 6-10 (a two game swing) in Outback games, 1-2 in the new Gator bowl match ups, and 2-1 in the old Music City match ups. We've been pitted against the ACC champs twice in the past few years, with their champ playing our second place team, and we've won both.

So, yes, we've been weak at the top...and given the SEC has a real run going at the top.... it appears every other BCS league has the same problem as the B!G with their top team! Just looking at what Missouri and A&M have done in their first two years in the SEC, should be some indicator that there are a lot of teams out there that can play the game at a highly competitive level....who never get to the Championship game.
