1. None of that matters? Seriously? You're banking that LSU will hold Oregon to 3 and outs all game? It won't happen. Oregon won't need to score it's average from last year to beat LSU. If they score 28 or more, they'll win. I simply don't see LSU scoring more than that. Especially if they employ the 3 yards and a cloud of dust ball control game.
Most are claiming that Oregon's defense will be better this year than last, so I'm being generous by thinking LSU will score 10 points more than Oregon gave up per game last year.
  2. Are the Ducks uniforms going to be bedazzled???? Is this a new strategy? Cripple the other team with laughter?
  3. You never know with Nike!
  4. Duckfan I def don't think it doesn't matter at all and I don't think tgere is literally 1 sane person on this board that thinks Oregon is gonna go 3 and out all day. That's absurd but your predictions are getting silly. You could only put up 19 against Auburn and that was when it was all on the line. If we only score 10, the next 0z is on me;)
  5. I didn't say LSU would score 10. I said I didn't think they'd score more than 28, and that Oregon would only have to top that to win.

As far as putting only 19 on AU: IMO, I don't see LSU's D-line blowing up Oregon O-line like Fairley did (Dirty hits and all). He was the huge difference maker in that game. He should have been the MVP, not Newton. To compare LSU and AU's defenses, I think AU had a better D-line, It's a wash on the LB's, and LSU has the better secondary. With Patrick Peterson gone, we'll see if they can hold that edge.
  6. Gosh, ASD, I guess all the "SEC is the best" talk will die down a bit when:
    1) Oregon beats LSU in the college football opener this coming season.
    2) Auburn loses their NC and Heisman after Camgate is belatedly exposed and
    3) One of your teams loses to one of the cupcakes the SEC schedules each year.
Gonna be so nice when the Tiggers get Duck tamed in Cowboy stadium!
  7. 1) we will find out sept 3rd
    2) I don't give a damn if tgey discontinue tge football program much less take their trophy away. Same situation as USC. If they deserve what they get then fine but the game was still won on the field. Or should I say lost...from your standpoint of course.
    3) it's very possible and even likely that there will be upsets. What are you 5? We have one of the toughest if not THE toughest schedules in the country. We could start out 1-2 if things don't start off well. Did you start watching football last year? Your posts are idiotic
  8. Yes our interior line is a question but we are really talented there. Could be more stout up front. I don't think you can assess our teams defense anymore than your own. We both are filling big shoes this year at key positions and both feel like there is plenty of talent to step in. You guys lost a go to reciever, 3 starting O-lineman, a couple cornerstone LB's and thats only what i remember. Now at first glance that does not seem like a recipe for success against LSU but there is some experience and talent stepping into those spots and its the same with us. We played alot of guys last year(Miles finally started playing underclassmen) but that's all based on potential until after the first few games are in the books.
  9. We bviously aren't going to agree on everything. That's understandable and quite frankly how it should be;)
  10. Your getting on us for the Duck uniforms? Your coach eats grass for gawds sakes! Let's see: players have been stepping in it, spitting in it, vomiting in it, and your mascot tigger has probably been-well, you know-in it. And Less eats it? Wow, whata guy! Disgusting.
