Took this off a clip from one of the sports shows last night, but here's the LSU defense by the numbers so far this season. Only team in the Country to hold every opponent under 21 pts. Allowed an FBS-low 6 touchdowns. Best red zone defense in SEC (23% RZ TD pct). 3rd in SEC in defensive efficiency. I know the competition has been a little less than stellar, and the meat of the schedule is coming up, but things are going in the right direction on the defensive side of the ball for LSU. LSU plays the toughest remaining schedule in the FBS based on FPI.
