These guys I've known for 40 years. They started out as a Gentilly garage band playing at Luigi's Pizza on Eleysian fields Ave. They always were a bunch of dead heads that sounded like little feat. The drummer, Frank Bua owns a restaurant in Mandeville. I was his sous chef for many years. Frank once snorted a small raw oyster in front of me and spit it out his mouth. He earned my immediate respect !!
The tenor sax player is a friend and regular customer. He's from Germany and is really impressed with my German name because he's from the same area my family came from a couple of generations ago.
Ever hear of a brass band that covers led zepplin and Jimi Hendrix ?? One of the trombone players comes in with his wife...she's a singer.
