I have a best of cd, but I never bought any van halen albums, you take their music more seriously than I,.. guess I'm mostly a halen video and dave fan, the guy is a proud peacock, but quite a showman. You probably hate this

And an ego maniac which is what eventually derailed things with the VH boys. That and the drugs and booze but basically the whole thing turned into a shit show.

Dave is not a bad singer but an excellent front man. If only he were a little more concerned with putting out a good musical product and little less concerned with how much product he could get into his nose or how many groupies he could bang ....

Guess they all have some of that though
